FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dates?

EO Alchemy Seattle will be September 20-23, 2023.

What is the current refund policy?

The event has a no-refund policy. However, ticket exchanges and name changes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Ticket exchanges and name changes will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The planning committee reserves the right to charge a transfer fee equivalent to the difference between what was paid and the current active registration price rate. Please email eoalchemy@eonetwork.org with details of who will be assuming your ticket (they must be a member or guest of a member).

What if I have to cancel my trip?

Given the unpredictability of travel, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. Any cancellations of flights, tickets, or hotels will not be covered by the planning committee. We encourage you to transfer your ticket to another interested attendee.

What precautions will the event take to make this event COVID-safe?

Specific information regarding COVID safety protocol will be shared with attendees closer to the date. The planning committee will partner with all venues and vendors to help create safety for all involved in the event.

You keep mentioning “the planning committee.” What/who is the committee?

Alchemy conferences are not run or managed by EO but rather by a planning committee of EO members from numerous US West chapters. The committee receives help from EO, but most decisions are made by the committee.

What should I pack?

Seattle can be unpredictable at this time of year, so come prepared for sun and warm weather, and of course come prepared for rain. Our events are all indoors, but some are walking distance from the hotel. Please consider comfortable walking shoes, for walks through the city of up to 15 minutes to get to the restaurant for dine arounds or the monorail to go to the MoPop. Dress code for dine arounds is business casual, dress in layers since it will be an outdoor walk, and an umbrella is recommended. For night 2 at the Museum of Flight dress code is business chic and the theme is BLUE! This is to represent Boeing and Alaska Airlines, the main two sponsors and participants of the evening. Also, the afterparty is at Vue which is a popular nightclub in Seattle owned by an EO member’s friend who is closing it to the public for EO exclusively. The theme here will be blue night as well, with many trinkets and lighted options available for use! Night 3 is at MoPop museum and will be a fun night filled with dancing. Colorful clothes are recommended, but bringing your dancing shoes is required! 😊 For Saturday pay-to-play experiences there will be everything from seaplanes to whale watching to touring to tasting to jumping. Come prepared for anything. In the hotel, the ballrooms tend to be a bit chilly, so a light jacket or sweater is recommended.
